PARAGONE: My First Year Experiences – Yolanda Corripio-Miyar
This has been a very productive year at the Moredun. I have enjoyed the opportunity of meeting the PARAGONE partners and collaborating with some of them, looking into new methods to improve their vaccines.
As such, most of my work has been focused on studying the interaction between CaP-PCMC microcrystals and ruminant immune cells, in order to determine their adjuvancy mechanism but also enhancing protection by using PAMPs as part of the vaccine formulation.
I have also been involved in one of the first vaccination experiments of the project in the ULPGC, and although there is still a lot of data to be analysed, we are getting some really exciting results.
